We want\r\nthis to be a happy and uplifting time. Let the music move you. Let the messages\r\npenetrate and warm your heart.<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><em>We are a community choir. We each bring talents and flaws. Through this choir, we\r\nwant to express our love for music and the highest thoughts and feeling which art\r\ncan provide.<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Because I want to improve my skills I will make a contribution in the\r\nfollowing ways:<\/p>\r\n<ol>\r\n<li><strong>Show up.<\/strong> I will attend rehearsals as much as possible. If I need to miss, I will\r\nemail with as much lead time as possible. I will not miss more than 3\r\nrehearsals in a \u201cseason\u201d or I may lose the privilege performing with the group.\r\nDress rehearsals and performances are mandatory.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Be on time.<\/strong> I will make every effort to come to rehearsals and performances\r\nwith enough time to get settled and be ready to sing.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Be prepared.<\/strong> I will put in the time necessary to truly add to the sound and\r\nperformance level of the group.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Improve.<\/strong> I will improve my musical, blending, and vocal skills according to the\r\ncoaching and direction of the conductor.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Pay attention.<\/strong> I will focus on the music and the director during rehearsals. I\r\nwill limit my phone and other interruptions.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Donate funds.<\/strong> I will pay the fee of $60 per \u201cseason\u201d so that others don\u2019t have\r\nto invest personal funds to purchase music, folders, costumes, venues,\r\ninstrumentalists, etc.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Make friends.<\/strong> I will connect with others in this unique and giving community.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Support.<\/strong> I will support the decisions of the group regarding performance times,\r\nattire, memorization, and artistic interpretation. I will not grumble.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Promote.<\/strong> I will promote our concerts and encourage others to attend.
