    Christmas Day
  • All solo parts will be sung by soloists, except at C (page 5), which is tutti.
  • Change “Good Christian men” to “Good Christians all” throughout.

  • Men sing Part I, women sing Part II

  • Sopranos sing Part I, Altos sing Part II, Tenors and Basses sing Part III

  • Change “ev’ry man” to “ev’ry-one” in measures 19 and 36.

  • No breath after “Gloria” when followed by “in excelsis Deo”
  • Take a breath after “Gloria” when followed by “Alleluia”

  • First note is extra long — watch the director!
  • Ending is very slow, especially the last moving note for the sopranos — watch the director!
  • Change “brethren” to “children” at the top of page 3 (alto) and top of page 4 (bass).
